The problem
We Go Gym was starting from zero. No brand identity, no digital tools, no app, no visual system. Just an idea for a fitness concept and the ambition to build something that stands out in a market full of generic gym brands. Without a cohesive identity, there was nothing to launch with. Without digital infrastructure, there was no way to engage members beyond the gym floor.
The fitness market is crowded and every competitor has an app, a brand, and a story. We Go Gym needed all three, built together so they reinforce each other from day one.
How we tackled it
We treated this as one project, not three. Brand identity, app development, and digital strategy were designed together from the start. The brand informs the app. The app extends the brand. The strategy ties both to measurable growth. Splitting them across separate timelines or separate teams would have produced something fragmented. We Go Gym couldn't afford fragmented.
We mapped the fitness member journey: what motivates someone to join, what keeps them coming back, and where gyms typically lose people. Those insights shaped everything from the brand personality to the app's feature set.
Our approach
A brand identity built for energy and recognition. We designed the full brand from scratch: logo, colour palette, typography, visual system, and brand voice. The identity needed to feel dynamic and motivating without falling into the aggressive, dark aesthetic that dominates the gym market. The result is a brand that communicates strength and accessibility at the same time, with a visual system flexible enough to work across signage, merchandise, social media, and the app.
A mobile app designed to keep members engaged. We designed and developed a React Native app that goes beyond class bookings. Personalised fitness programmes, workout tracking, progress monitoring, and community features that connect members with each other. Wearable integration syncs data from devices members already use. The app is the bridge between the physical gym experience and the daily motivation that keeps people consistent.
A digital strategy built for launch and long-term growth. We developed SEO and app store optimisation strategies to make We Go Gym findable from day one. A data-driven approach to understanding which channels drive sign-ups and which features drive retention. The digital infrastructure is scalable, so as We Go Gym grows, adding locations or features doesn't mean starting over.
