The problem
Nextum is a real estate company that had outgrown its digital foundation. The existing platform was outdated, slow, and rigid. Managing property listings was inefficient, with too many manual steps between updating a property internally and seeing it reflected on the website. Mobile visitors got a poor experience. And the underlying infrastructure made it nearly impossible to adapt or scale without rebuilding from scratch.
The platform wasn't just holding back their online presence. It was slowing down internal workflows and limiting Nextum's ability to grow.
How we tackled it
This project needed speed without cutting corners. Nextum couldn't afford months of development, but they also couldn't afford another platform that would need replacing in two years. We applied our Build Sprint methodology: a focused three-week process that compresses strategy, design, and development into one tight cycle.
Week one: understanding the business, mapping internal workflows, and defining what the platform needs to do. Week two: design and architecture, validated with the team before a single line of code. Week three: build, test, and launch.
Our approach
A platform that serves two audiences at once. Externally: a clean, fast, mobile-first website where potential buyers and tenants can browse listings with intuitive filters and get in touch directly. Internally: a streamlined property management workflow inside WordPress that removes the friction from adding, updating, and organising listings.
Flexible infrastructure built to scale. The old platform was a dead end. Every change required custom development. We rebuilt the site on WordPress with a modular architecture that Nextum's team can extend and adapt as the business grows. New property types, new pages, new sections, all manageable without developer involvement.
Performance and mobile as non-negotiables. Fast load times, responsive design that works properly on every screen size, and optimised image handling so property photos look sharp without slowing the page down. The site was tested across devices before launch, not as an afterthought.
The result
In three weeks, Nextum went from an outdated, inflexible platform to a modern website that supports both their online growth and internal efficiency. The team manages their own content. The site loads fast, works on every device, and gives visitors a clear path from browsing to contact. The infrastructure is built to grow with them, not against them.
